EDWA’s outcome-oriented actions aim to deliver proactive water resource development and management to secure the county’s water future. We are proud of our 60+ year history of long-term water resources planning that safeguards water reliability for our county’s diverse communities.

Our 5 Programs

EDWA’s actions and direction are based on the Water Resources Development and Management Plan (WRDMP), a long-term policy document outlining resource management strategies to proactively address changing water resources needs, regulatory requirements, and climate variability. Our work is focused on five programs to ensure the county is prepared for an uncertain water future.
